I am testing now Pharaon 3.1 beta KHS. This version has no more time bug on Dell Inspiron 5150 Intel mobile ! Franck Zibi communicated the following to this beta. The last sentence might be interesting for all. C O P Y " The version I sent to you is nearly the same as the official Pharaon v3.1 . The main difference is a MAJOR BUG correction in threefold draw by repetition detection. In several drawing games, instead of playing 3 times the same move to get a draw, it plays only 2 times the same move, and a big blunder instead of the third move... I think this bug alone has weaken Pharaon v3.1 by about 30 elo points. This bug was not present in Pharaon beta v3.0 , that's why the beta was playing much better then v3.1 (winning the Chess War V tournament and scoring 50% in the super strong Graham Banks tournament). I plan to release this bug fix version very soon." Small test by me: Pharaon 3.1 beta KHS vs. Pharaon 3.1 (5'+5" , 96 MB hash, Computer.ctg) 5,5 - 2,5 !
