It's a "half-ply" measure. Half of the depth (rounded up) is the brute force ply
depth. Extensions are done by counting some moves as only half a ply, and
sometimes even less, so that most "interesting" lines are longer, often much
longer than the brute-force depth.

"favour sacrifices" disables some pruning that tends to get rid of sacrifices.
This will often (not always) cause sharp lines to be found faster. It's not the
strongest playing mode.

They won't load properly unless they have the correct long filename. You
probably unzipped them with a DOS UNZIP. Try using WINZIP, or just rename in
Windows to the correct name.
