Happy New Year to you too :) I posted this on the forums since everybody may be
interested in the combersation because other person may have the same problem or
I can't help you but other person can. (Next time Submit follow up! though you
were lucky I actually watched my email out [I do it around each 3 days])

Since I have the 3D board enabled, it's very hard to imput moves. What I do is
open winboard in Edit Game mode and imput the moves, copy position to Clipboard,
then go to chesspartner and paste, then choose Player > and choose Computer on
both places.

The computers play the given position without a Lock-up, and I didn't enable
Analysis anywhere

Maybe the problem is with the 12.00.01 version and that crashes.

But Prodeo 1.0 SD6.7 seems to reach 1 or 2 plies deeper and get a better score
(I mean, it scores/chooses the moves in a better way), it's just Rebel's latest
version and it's free, you may want to download it here:

Err, maybe just don't use the analyse option since you want to the computers to
play a given position, copy and paste works fine.

I recomend ChessBase, Arena and Winboard over Chesspartner. Chessbase is the
best in Deep Position Analysis (If you are interested in knowing what is the
best move available instead of knowing what the computer will move in a first
sight [Or even a first sight after 20 minutes / 40 plies]), but it's not free.
Arena is the best for tourneys and Winboard is what I use for looking at
positions / Portable Game notations with ease and without using 60% of my CPU
resources (Like Arena does).

So happy "3 Wizard Kings day" (From México) and the best of the lucks.

Note: Beware Winboard doesn't check if the move you imput is legal, so you only
get enpassant, promotion and castle moves, but you can take the king with your
rook or move while in check.
