Well this is boring. I wanted to learn chess so I am playing against I computer. My king is in its normal place. My bishop (the straight moving piece) is to king's right. Computer's queen is to the bishop's right (two squares to the right of my king). Computer's queen moves up two squares (putting me in check on the diagonal) So I move my bishop up one square. Computer moves down two squares (putting me in check on the horizontal) So I move my bishop down one square. Rinse, repeat, rinse, repeat. Does this happen a lot when you play against a computer? And what would happen in real life? Obviously I can't change my moves because I am in check.
