when I was a young lad, I use to play chess in a public park in Germany.
On a huge chess board.the king must have been three feet high and all wooden
pieces never the less. LOL playing speed chess also gave a good cardiovascular
exercise. Running around all over the place :)

Those were the good old days. That was 30 years ago.
I admire europeans for their love of the game. It is not the same here in the
north america. Different cultures I guess.
