quite the contrary ..my young Padawan

i played a few games like this in the Gama Stan(Old City) in Sweden
was amazing

not like the point and click..mouse slipping.. silliness of PC chess

BTW..most Grandmasters prefer the real board and pieces
and its silly to think they are not using a real board and pieces when playing
tournament  time control  games on the net
they use the 2d board merely as an interface to transmit the moves
in addition,most Gm's prefer to play face to face in live tournaments because of
the rampant cheating that goes on in internet play
