Subject: OK, but which engine is good enough to give most of US a challenge?

Arasan to me, is quite sufficient, and that is something which has been
available free, together in full ready working order, easily downloaded. And
with a second per move, or not much longer, it gives enough of a challenge, I'm
sure, for most of us here.
If what WE want, is a personal challenge, without taking back moves, then who
here can say this is not enough? And if YOU can beat it at one second per move,
with YOU thinking much longer, how about (computer at) 5 seconds per move, or,
equal timing?

Please don't give me any of this "garbage" about me being a beginner, or
similar, I think I'm speaking to any of us here, and even the anti-computer
experts, when it comes to equal time. And if not, then maybe only one or two of
us is above it.

I mean, anyone who can not often beat a human GM, will have a tough challenge
even with Arasan 8.1, or similar. Am I wrong?

(So why do _I_ want a much stronger engine? Because I have other interests in it
than to take up a personal challenge against it, to see if I am brainy enough to
beat it).
