I learned long ago..  & the hard way;
never to try and outblitz my Opponent

I met a guy in New York ..(I was Expert strength at the time)
Abe Turner.. He gave me 5 minutes and he took 30 Seconds.. and beat me game
after game after game..
Sad end though, he was a Postal worker, and one of his fellow workers.. stabbed
him to death.

Jacquline & Gregor (the world famous cellist) sponsored a Simultaneous
Exhibitionby Reshevsky to play 12 local Masters. Sammy took 5 minutes and gave
the Masters 10, and beat them all.

Over the board, you can make many, many moves in 30 secnds.. Ask Walter Browne

6 time U.S. Champion.. a great Blitz player.

On ICC I have played 1 0 games where I played 78 Moves in 60 seconds and still
lost on time...
