This is how I normaly run my engine on ICC so I can be of some help to get it running. F.ex. Let Winboard start from a batchfile with a loop so you only need to send a quit message to change book/engine and restart the communication with ICC. For those unknown for how remote controlling of Winboard works, in short it let you give command from any user to ICC pretending you are the engine. You can also give command direct to the engine.
