No, it is not the only reason, there will always be some difference. Maybe more
when comparing a gui that don't use much cpu-power against a gui that have
cpu-heavy updates. When you lower the priority for engines like Fritz do it wil
be even more unstable, I don't think you get the same result when running twice
in Fritz neither. This isn't a problem in general because Elo wise we probably
talk about less than 1 point, at least if you don't do any other work on the pc
while you run the match.
