Sally, I plan to buy necessary components for building a new AMD Athlon 64 3500+ computer system at home next February or March. I will consider Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 200GB hard drive (6Y200M0). If I buy it, I will download and install an update file from Maxtor so that Windows 2000 will recognize all hard disk space. However, I prefer to divide 200GB space into two drives of about equal space - C: = 120GB and D: = 80GB. That's better. If I have a question or problem, I will ask for help in the CCC forum.
