The Fidelity SC9 was one of the most popular Fidelity computers released
programmed by the team of  Dan&Kate Spracklen,it came on the market in 1982 and
was rated about 1600 ELO:

In the summer of 1983 owners of the Champion Sensory could send their computers
back to the Fidelity Factory to have the computer outfitted with the soon to be
released improvement on the SC9 program (the Super 9)running on a slightly
higher clock speed(1.6 Mhz-2Mhz)

Due to the commercial success of the SC9, in 1984 Fidelity released the Super
9..with a faster clock speed and rated at 1650:
