You will find no win of material from the opening position. I bet that even after 1.e4 a6 2.d4 h6 you will find no win of material for white in 30 plies if and if it is proved to be the case than searching 34 plies for the opening position is clearly a waste of time because clearly 1...a6 2...h6 are not the best move. I am even not sure if you will find a win of material after 1.e4 null 2.d4 null 3.Nf3 Null 4.Nc3 Null 5.Bc4 Null 6.Bf4 null Note that I believe that the last position is a win for white unlike the opening position that is a draw. I am not sure about the claim that the opening position is a draw but I am quite sure that even in case that it is not a draw computers are not at the level that they can find forced win of material. I suggest that you first try to find win from this position after an hour of search. [D]rnbqkbnr/pppppppp/8/8/2BPPB2/2N2N2/PPP2PPP/R2QK2R w KQkq - 0 1 If you find nothing in one hour then it will be a convincing evidence that finding something for the opening position is hopeless.
