I would be interested in hearing about these previous problems with HIMEM.SYS
and DELLs - you can email me on mark@acc-ltd.demon.co.uk

Thats a pity.
I have been working with Milton Zuc over the last two weeks or so and have a
test program (NOT Hiarcs) using extended memory successfully (and fast)
through HIMEM.SYS on his Dell PII/450. I am integrating this test code with
Hiarcs this weekend so things are progressing fast towards a solution for
the Dell/Hiarcs problem.

Depends on a lot of factors including the speed of processor, Ram, phase of the
game etc, etc.

I would need to do some tests. I will run Hiarcs against the BT2830 and LCTII
test
using a small hash table on my PPro200 and put the results on my web page
http://www.acc-ltd.demon.co.uk
alongside the figures already there for Hiarcs running with extended memory
hash tables.
