BK Brian, The problem is that when I queried the Playchess site menu the message I received was: "A new program version is ready for you. Do you want to upgrade now"? Update version = 24 Your version = 24 ?????? Personally, I am afraid to click "yes" because I don't know what I'll get. If they can't tell, how can I tell? Fortunately, I have saved a couple of earlier updates from this year that are workable...... DHM It'a as bad a upgrading Microsoft Windows patches.
