It was originally included in a set of sixteen "problematic pleasantries", for which the author figured "it shouold require two years per problem to wend one's way enjoyably through...". matt (Some old chess computers cannot entertain this problem, due to the two black squared bishops for Black with all eight pawns.) >mike
