No, you have to buy it. But you can test it for free for 30 days. The limitation
is marginal.

Ruffian 1.0.5 came to mind, but if you would buy the Classic 1.1. there is an
Engine called Shredder Classic within which is at the same level or a bit better
in my opinion. But that is just another Shredder. Aristarch is another Engine
that I would give a try.

If you really ask only for the two strongest free engines Crafty is out.

If it is more often right then others, how can the eval beeing too optimistic?
(Not a real question, just a point to think about!)

You should have a close look at the PV of the future S9!!!

Use as much Hash as possible without swapping.
