To construct a dedicated chess table and/or cabinet:

Incorporate a DGT board into a nice table or cabinet.  Also make it removeable.

Use a linux based program that used tcl/expect (or something) as the glue
between the console program (like Crafty) and the control/display panel on the
cabinet/table via usb/serial or whatever.

The glue program could use the control panel inputs to set book types (wide,
tournament, GM, computer) and time controls.  Perhaps even personalities, as in
the Mike Byrne mods.

Sell for thousands of dollars, especially if the the table is very nice, like a
Dreuke.
