Probably,I've one year more experience than you. I started learning C but it was too difficult for me too understand. I downloaded some Pascal source codes (KC chess,SSEchess) and read line by line. Now I think I know how to teach machine to move pieces correctly . The more difficult thing is how to the program can find good moves.I'm now trying to do.. I know it's not easy.
