Hi, perhaps someone is interested in the AEGT 3 tournament. AEGT stands for Amateur Engines Grand Test and is a great idea by Heinz van Kempen. In this tournament, all testers put their CPUs in common. Rules are hosted here at Igor Gorelikov's website. There are several groups of 12 engines, playing a double round robin tournament at the time control of 40/40 (adapted to 2Ghz processor). The goal is to get many games at this time control for these engines. I am running the King group on my P4 3.2 GHz (time control 40 / 26) and on my Centrino 1.6 GHZ (time control 40 / 22). The games are played with the Arena 1.1 GUI approx. 128 MB of memory usage per engine is allowed. Please have a look here: - http://www.koch-in-holm.de/aegt3/ - http://www.husvankempen.de/nunn/ - http://freehosting.hostrave.com/p/iggor/home.php best regards, Christian
