yes many dedciated computers have this function
however the "random" play feature almost always is one that must be elected by
the user
i cant recall any computer having "random "play as a standard option with "best
move only" as an option
so even if two moves returned the same exact score the same move would be chosen
again and again UNLESS the random play feature were enabled
