it was released in 1983 and was programmed by the Spracklen team
the La Regence contained the same program as the ARB 3.0 which was the last
program the Spracklens wrote for Applied concepts before moving to Fidelity
the opening book in the La Regence was slightly larger then the ARB 3.0
containing about 5500 moves
