Subject: Collector's Corner..Robot Auction's Come Back Down To Earth..

Unlike the pre-Xmas selling prices of run of the mill Fidelity 6100 Phantoms and
MB Grandmasters ,which were selling for $1000-$2000,the last several Robot
auctions have been selling for normal prices again
prices for the past 4 Robot auctions have been in the $550-$650 Range, which is
far more realistic
i have noticed the same is true for Pre-Xmas Wooden computers ..prices have come
back down to reality

this auction just closed for a near Mint 6100 Phantom which contained
box, manual, pieces, adaptor and box for pieces..everything except for the ever
elusive Dust Cover:

this Phantom was in far better condition and more complete then the one that
sold less then a month ago for nearly $2000!

good to see that the previous prices were one time only abborations, as i opined
here previously

Best Steve

PS. however that Fidelity Elite Preimere will go for BIG bucks..Xmas or no Xmas
the seller knows his chess computers and has set what i think is a very high
reserve price

i will guestimate a final price in the $1500-$2000 Range(even without the box)

even though i already have a mint Preimere i think i might take a stab at a bid
as well..
