. Do you remember the selling price? BTW: The reserve has only 4 digits >:) yes i remember it quite well it sold this past November for close to $2500 it was a German auction and the Euro-Dollar conversion did have an impact on the price(Dollar was about 1.25 to 1 Euro then) none the less it caused the final selling price caused quite a sensation here and it forced me to post this message :)) Best Steve Subject: Collector's Corner...Elite Premiere ..What Price Fame?? Hi All Given the absurd price the Elite Premiere recently garnered on Ebay(close to $2500 USD) I thought it might be interesting to put this old horse through its paces with a young new upstart..the newly released Novag Star Ruby I set the Premiere to play with the black pieces and the Mephisto Vancouver 1991 World Champion program . Time control ..Game/30 min. [Date "11-28-2004"] [White " Novag Star Ruby"] [Black "Elite Premiere-Vancouver"] [Result "0-1"] 1. e4 d6 2. d4 Nf6 3. Nc3 g6 4. f4 Bg7 5. Nf3 c5 6. e5 Nfd7 7. dxc5 dxe5 8. fxe5 Nxe5 at this point SR is out of its book..more common in the Pirc is Q-d8ck [D] rnbqk2r/pp2ppbp/6p1/2P1n3/8/2N2N2/PPP3PP/R1BQKB1R w KQkq - 0 1 9. Bb5+ 9...
