Hi

I had a short look at this and three reasons came to my mind.

1. I could not reproduce several moves with S8 on my computer. Because I know
that, especialy on paralell computers, chess is non deterministic ...

2. the moves 3,4,6,7 and 8 would never be played out of the book of S8 if set
correctly.

3. Of course if someone invest enough effort and tries it is possible to find
out some lines where an engine is behaving bad, especially at short time
controls.

Btw: If S9 is out I bet that it will need some time till you see such wins
again. If someone know goldmund I would like to play him on playchess where I
could use Shredders book with correct setting. Any time control at any time! (If
Goldmund wants that I will use S8 as well!)

I will not do the second game, because I believe it will have similar resons.

I just want to bring back into mind, that under "controled" conditions the top
GMs have a hard time to show succeses like this. In one game. Make it 10 and one
might game might be like this. It is online play, you never know...

Nevertheless nice "anti-computer" play by Goldmund!

Bye
Ingo
