As several of you have pointed out - Chessmaster 9000 finds Mate in 9 in a few
seconds. Ruffian agrees after a lot of thought (probably less than the 7.5 hrs
here -
I just ran it overnight:

+mate 9 27/5 07:30:44 1913762K 70763

1. Bd3 Rg8
2. Qh4 h5
3. Bxg6 fxg6
4. f7 Rg7
5. Qd4 Nf5
6. Re1 Nxd4
7. Re8 Qxe8
8. fxe8=Q Rg8
9. Bxd4

A lot of engines have trouble this this one!
Given all the "mate 11, mate 10, etc." solutions, it would be nice if some
matefinder like Chest could confirm the best solution here, but apparently
there is a large branching factor.
