About a year ago I had an email exchange with Eric Hallsworth, Hiarcs book author, and he said that Mark Uniacke was interested in developing a SMP version. Apparently Mark felt that if he had a SMP version he'd be able to complete in the World Championships against the quads. It certainly looks as if Mark has made significant progress since version 9. My own opinion, based on the articles in Eric's excellent Selective Search comnputer chess magazine (search in Google if you want to subscribe - well worth it!!), is that Mark managed to spot some general inefficiencies when porting over to the Palm.
