I decided to download Arena 1.1 although Arena 1.0 was perfect for me! And it was a pleasure to see that Arena 1.1 have been improved in many areas and i was especially astonished by its new graphics and its new features also! And generally everything was even more perfect from perfection! BUT all these are pointless, as there is one huge problem. Everything started when i tried to load a PGN. The PGN have been loaded immediatelly but a freeze occured for about 10-15 seconds and then everything have gone OK. But this thing happens at the 90% of times i'm loading a PGN. Well, i can live with this problem, but not with the next one: In the first tournament game (List512-Sjeng 12.13) everything until move 10 was OK, but at move 10 in List's move immediately after Sjeng played its 9th move, a freeze again happened for 10-15 seconds. Actually not really a freeze, since the time of List was running. But List didn't calculate a move nor i could choose any menu dialogs. I could get out of Arena though. And then for the next 3-4 moves everything run OK again. But at move 15 the same happened. And this continued at the beginning of the moves 16,17,19,20,21,22. This was for both engines and at the beginning of their search for every move. And then i stopped the game. When i immediatelly continued the game with Arena 1.0 everything were OK with the game. I use Windows-ME by the way. I have to congratulate Martin for this free!!! amazing program and i understand that he has no obligation to offer support for any bug or feature at Arena, but please if Martin or anyone else has any ideas of what is wrong, then post it.................. Is there any place after the closing of the Arena forums, to place any possible bugs or discuss about Arena.......? It's too tough to have a so beautiful GUI and can't use it. If this problem dissapear then i would be extremely happy! Thank you.
