Hi George,

the problem you experience when loading a PGN file possible could be related to
the use of a (large) Arena book. I had the same problem here and simply disabled
 the main Arena book. Of course it is not a very satisfactory solution...

Concerning your other problem, I have no idea :-( Nothing similar ever occured
on my machines during the several hundred games already played with Arena 1.1.

For bug reports, you can use an online-form at the old Arena site.
