It would be fun to do if I had some idea how to do it. But since I do not know how emotions work, it will be too difficult for me to try. What I mean is, there are an infinity of things that can happen. I do not know how to program feelings for that sea of possibilities. And even for simple cases -- when I am angry, do I play better or worse? In what way better or worse? To what degree better or worse? Will it change my style of play to attacking? Will it make me try to set a trap? I think what you are asking for is more difficult than you imagine. >if you dont have the time i am sure there are many programers that would be >willing to try with your funds > >BTW there was a dedicated computer that was released in 1982 that did have an >"Emotions" feature >the only computer ever released with this feature..the Novag Robot Adversary >when this feature was engaged the Robot would celebrate victory by raising its >Robotic arm in glorious triumph >defeat would be conceded with a pitiful whining noise and a slow ,deathlike >movement of is arm > >while on the move the player would be suddenly distracted from thought by >flashing lights and unexpected and erratic arm movements from the robot > >and if a particularly brilliant move was made by the player causing the robot >to suddenly have an inferior position, the robot has been known to take a violent >stab at the player with open claw: > >www.schachcomputer.at\steveb > > >Steve
