When I first installed deep frita 7 and later fritz 8 neither worked completely until I did an on line upgrade. Later when my system crashed and I had to reinstall both they again did not work completely. This time when I went on chessbase to update, my programs were listed as being updated but the help icon did not have the right date and the malfunctions continued. In deep fritz 7 the deep fritzmarks failed for one. I don't remember the specific failure in fritz 8.
