Could it castle and promote etc.. hi Ray i havent played against the CC1 for quite sometime but i do remember that the time it took to consider and return a move was fairly consistent throught out the game usually with 5-10 seconds it probably was programmed for a fixed time per move response the cc1 did accept castling and en passant captures from the player although i dont believe it was programmed to make these moves for itself there was no underpromotions Best Steve >Cheers.
