Here is the five oldest I bought that I can remember.

Sargon II      Apple II    1980       Dan and Kathe Sparklen
Sargon III     Macintosh   1984       Dan and Kathe Sparklen
Psion Chess    Macintosh   1984       Richard Lang
Psion          PC          1985       Richard Lang
Zarkov 2.0     PC          1989       John Stanback

I did have the 1.x versions of Zargon. Mr. Stanback was kind enough to send me
for testing.

and also there was a chess program for my Timex Sinclair ZX1 computer but I can
not remember the name at the moment.
