>It's been four years since i have been reading your very informative >and always entertaining post about dedicated chess computers from the past >and present. We all have benefitted from your knowledge in this field. >Lately i realy enjoy looking at your chess computer pictures on your yahoo >album. The size of your collection will place you in the top 5 collectors >in the world! If not at number one! hi Stephen thank you for the kind words and for suffering through my posts for all of these years i have shown only a small number of my computers in the album i tried to show computers and modules that are not so commonly seen elsewhere on the net. Do you know of any other collector with more >chess computers than you have ? there is one i know of but the quantity is not important only the quality of the computers in the collection a collector can have 30 Fidelity CC7'S and say he has 30 computers another collector can have 3 computers Fidelity Super 9 deluxe Mephisto Almeria 32 CXG Sphinx 50 the second collection is far better then the first >I'm a small collector from Ohio, since 1979. But i'm still at it. collecting from 1979! thats good to hear many of the present day collectors are only collecting for 10-15 years and some even less even the top collectors are not collecting as long as you are you can always tell a brand new collector he will know more then the old collectors :)) >Just recently i won an auction on ebay, bought Saitek Kasparov Pc Autochessboard >#573. Unfortunately it came with no manual or information of any kind, >could you tell me anything about it? well this is not really in my area of knowledge as it is not a dedicated computer however i do know of a MEPHISTO PC board that could be used to play the Rebel program(ED Shroeder) on the computer sorry i cant help you further Best Steve
