If you would like I can send you my program simon. It is public domain so you
can use it any way you like. It is very weak, the search and evaluation are
very basic, but it is a fully functional bitboard based engine using rotated
bitboards for attack calculations. It is written in C++ and I've tried to keep
the code clear and comment liberally. The only interface it supports is xboard.
