There's significant changes that happened between Fritz 7 and Fritz 8 that such
an ELO list (which, by the way, doesn't give any information as to number of
games played, hardware speed and time control...) will not represent.

Fritz 8 was the second generation of changes that were made to take it from
somewhat of a "bean-counter" to slightly slower but more knowledgeable search
with improved positional understanding.  There's more to chess engines than just
their strength vs. one another -- but this is something the "ELO Monkeys" will
never comprehend.
