Hello All! I like to run engines as bots in ICC for testing a few opening ideas of mine not only against other chess programs but mainly against strong human players. For this, I use engines with manually editable opening books (I used crafty and yace until now). ProDeo looks like a very interesting opportunity for me, if I can use "personalities" (.eng files) and user books (.rbm files) together with the main opening book (MVS file). But I cannot figure how I can build a winboard command file for indicating which .eng, .rbm and MVS files have to be used by Prodeo in a given ICC session. Could you help me ? Thanks in advance Marc Lacrosse http://www.mlweb.info/chessbazaar/ PS. As far as I know, Prodeo user books (.rbm) are simple text files which are manually editable. There is also the possibility to edit them "graphically" by entering lines on the board in rebel 12 under DOS or windows98. Is there another way to edit them in this way in windowsXP (rebel 12 not working)?
