No! 1. kN/s: No one knows what Shredder or Fritz or any other engine is showing as kN/s. For sure they are counting different things. Therefore the values are not comperable. 2. Evaluation values: Do not compare a 1.0 of Fritz with a 1.0 of Shredder or any other engine. All engines differ in their counting of a pawn, an advanced pawn, an isolated pawn, a free pawn, bishops, bishop pairs ... (Philisophical remark: Shredder is usually considered as optimistic in its evals. On the other hand Shredder is wining more games than other engines, therefore its eval is more often right then the eval from the others, wouldnt it be right to consider other engines as pessimistic instead of Shredder as optimistic?) 3. Depth. Sometimes Engines show depth values that are just crazy. Just ignore them. The only thing that is for sure is the result of a game/match. Bye Ingo
