Hi ,
I would like to know beside the release date - what is the difference between
shredder 8 and 9 .

I always liked about shredder that the deep version is same price as the single
cpu version and want to undersand why now the deep version is supposedly is
twice the price of the single cpu version? Especially when the dual core cpus
are 1 year or even less ?

I guess Ingo Bauer could enlighten us .

If you give official info about a program release then I guess you should say a
bit more then : "I can't say how much elo it is improved" .

1) You can estimate
2) You can speculate
3) You can give examples

In fact I now undersand that a single cpu version of shredder 9 will do worse
with a Hyper Threading enabled cpu then shredder 8 and will cost more money , be
without an UCI engine while shredder 8 has UCI engine , multi threaded twice as
cheap engine..

Well I always liked free Crafty...
And I am happy for now with my shredder 8 from chessbase...
