Hello Ingo,
  Yes, I had tried to clear position learning and clear hash.  No difference.  I
just uninstalled the S8-UCI engine and reinstalled.  Still no difference.  Very
strange because  the classic engine find Qb2 immediately.  Also, I have always
used the default settings for Shredder.
