Well that might prove useless as I am listed with the RIAA as a supporter, and
my ISP knows it. I have friends who work there.

I am a staunch anti-piracy advocate. I am also a MS OEM System Builder, a MS
Partner Account Holder, and hold various other partner accounts with companies
like Adobe, Trillian, Jasc, and Macromedia.

Piracy is the main reason software is so bloody expensive. Eliminate it, and
software prices will come down.

If you would like all the stats for the rising costs of varying things due to
piracy, I have them. I get a bulletin each week about it.

I have also lost friends over my views on piracy. I firmly believe that even
when a program is given away as freeware there is still a cost factor involved
whether it be time, money, or a combination of both. You get paid for the work
you do, and those who make software/music/movies should get paid as well.

Piracy is theft no matter what way you put it.

Peter
