My view, for what it's worth, is that there is nothing wrong with Ruud Martin giving info about his new product. Nor do I have a problem with the Shredder team giving details of upcoming releases. Surely a board about computer chess should contain information about all aspects of computer chess, commercial or otherwise. To balance this I would say if anyone came to the site and posted a "Fritz 8 for $35" type message I would object. The rule of thumb for me is that if anything is blatantly not in the interests of ICD Chess (who host the site) then it should not be allowed. Regards, Steve
