Thanks to all those that answered this thread

the two themes that seem to run deep amongst most of the replies were:
a)a wooden auto-sensory computer
b)strong playing strength

Since i asked the question i will now also answer it for me

As A Chess player..
i would have to keep the Elite Premiere
even though it would break my heart to say goodbye to the Tasc R40,the Premiere
has the beautiful auto-sensory board,
dual display windows and two programs..so it would be like keeping a Mephisto
and a Fidelity all in one
and of course the playing strength is enough to give me a very good game

As A Collector..
it would have to be the Novag Robot Adversary(with clock and printer
attachments)
to this day i am spellbound watching it play a game
a true technical marvel and to this day the only Robot ever made with the
Robotic Arm

NOW..
having to choose one of these two....

sigh...

The Robot

Best
Steve

BTW..TO Keith..how would you store a computer with 512 processors anyway???
:))
