It happened repeatedly until I rebooted my machine, and it seemed to work fine after that. I have not idea what was causing it, though Media Player 10 was NOT it (I never did install that -- I just made sure Media Player 9 was installed). Note it should be run from within Fritz8/Shredder8/Junior9/maybe-others GUI and not by double clicking on the media files themselves. That way, the moves discussed are shown on the chess board and the comments made are reflected on the board with red/green squares, arrows, etc. Roy
