A moderate push is all it takes on mine. Of course I use some sweet talk first, as with all old machines. The Philidor and Sensor Board are working fine. Occasionally I have got a LCD screen fade out well into a game with the Sensor Board connected. The position comes back after switching off and on again. Not yet got to the bottom of why this can happen, possibly a power supply problem. Other times it seems very stable. I can understand why the Sensor Board did not prove to be a market success. Though I suppose it is unfair to compare its usability with later boards. For me it still has great charm as a piece of design and in the history of chess computers. All the best Mike
