Hello, i downloaded the program polyglot as ithought it wud connect a uci engine,like shredder 8 to winboard. i installed polyglot to winboard where my engine files. I hav read documents with polyglot and it says i need a cygnus GCC compiler , where do i get this? why do i need this? why hasnt this been installed in polyglot as it wud make searching for GCC alot easier. Secondly,it says i need x board and im like what the f***? I currenctly have winboard, will polyglot run under winboard? I downloaded x board and cant find its setup files as there are NO exe files there which i usaully asscociated with a program to be extracted and installed. Is x-board compatible with windows xp? Is polyglot compatible with wibndows xp as wen i try eun it through winboard a message pops up saying cannot find x-board. PLEASE help me as i want to connect uci engines to winboard. Thank you.
