Thanks for your helpful comments - Of course you're right. A 6 year old doesn't
need anything but the most basic machine, although I guess ease of use and build
quality are factors to consider. Truth is her dad has got interested in this
too!!
The lights on every square on the Atlanta did sound nice.. I'm surprised none of
the beginners machines have this feature
As for my daughter I thought she could always start on the easiest setting and
use the take back and hint functions.
As for other models the 'exclusive' looks lovely in the pictures, but I don't
like the idea that it won't run on bateries, and I guess it's very heavy. Is it
much nicer to play than the cheaper models?
What about Novag. The 'Obsidian' or 'star diamond' also look OK?
