I see no problem with a program playing for a win when it has a material advantage. I also see no problem with the plus score since it has a material advantage. It's kind of like Crafty's "swindle mode" of trying to win a drawn endgame. There is no guarantee that your opponent will play the best moves(unless he/it is using tablebases). JMHO Jim
