Thanks for the info Steve.

I suppose I really need this question answered - Does the fact that the Sparc
module works in the third board mean it is OK to use it in that board or will
board and/or module be damaged by continuing to do so?

That is something which a person who has been in the position might be able to
answer or someone with a lot more electronics knowledge than I have. The obvious
thing would be to post the question on Kurts Forum but the seller of the Sparc
may be offended by me seeking a second opinion so it can wait. I think I will
try Saitek.
