Thanks a lot, Odd Gunnar. Indeed, this has many errors. And the main line is
losing!? 7. Kg2? 7.a5 would win. Quite a few other errors - many that cost a
whole point from theoretically won position to lost position. But still, it does
not help about 1. a4, where
1. a4 Kd7 2. Ke2 ({ but not } 2. a5)
is given. But this does not help anything. This line does not transpose into any
given winning line after 1. Ke2. I cannot see a win after 1. a4 Kd7 2. Ke2
Can anybody give one.
I looked a bit at the variations given by Yace after very long search for 1. a4
and 1. c4. They end in Q-endgames, and it seems those are draw.
If anybody should be interested, I can give some corrections to your PGN.
